A short, working set of rules for using the Manyi Life identity — a bilingual system where the EN and ZH wordmarks carry equal visual weight. For the full asset pack, download the brand kit at the bottom of this page.
Marks
Bilingual Vertical Lockup
Default ceremonial signature. EST · MMXXVI above the EN wordmark; 漫翊生活 below at matched visual weight. Use on covers, statements, brand pages.
Bilingual Horizontal Lockup
Inline running use — letterheads, footers, Journal mastheads. EN and ZH separated by a thin divider; both wordmarks at matched weight.
Wordmark
Use when only one script is needed for the audience — English-only press contexts, or Chinese-only legal documents.
Mark · M Monogram
Square 1:1 reproduction. Use as an icon, favicon, social avatar, or wherever space cannot accommodate a wordmark.
Ceremonial Crest
Reserved for ceremonial moments — annual reports, anniversary editions, founder messages, flagship member cards. Single-digit uses per year.

Noto Serif TC at weight 500 with letter-spacing +6. Used for 漫翊生活 itself and for any ZH display moment that needs to match the EN at parity.
Clear space & sizing
Maintain clear space around the mark equal to the cap height of the wordmark. Don't crowd it with adjacent type or imagery.
Minimum mark size: 16 px digital, 6 mm print. Below this, use the M monogram alone — the bilingual lockup loses legibility.
Do
- — Use the bilingual lockup on light (Paper) or dark (Ink) backgrounds.
- — Treat EN and ZH as equal — never shrink the ZH wordmark to a sub-line.
- — Reproduce in monochrome (Ink on Paper, or Paper on Ink). Accent silver only for divider lines and quiet secondary UI.
- — Maintain the clear-space rule, especially against photographs.
Don't
- — Don't recolor the mark outside the approved palette.
- — Don't reuse the retired laurel sprig or eclipse dot motifs.
- — Don't shrink the ZH wordmark below the EN wordmark's visual weight.
- — Don't combine with other brand marks without prior written authorization.
